Podcasts are popular in classrooms today as they are a tool that can be used to practise and improve reading, teach others, assess student learning among others. They can be used in any subject area be it Music, Languages, Biology and so on. They can be shared with students, parents and the community and provide opportunities for discussion and feedback via comments. Podcasts can be embedded to a website/blog as a tool for blended learning. Videos, vodcasts can also be used as a tool for the flipped classroom. Very interesting. Could be really useful for students who find it difficult to follow instructions the first time they are given or maybe to share a particular method with parents.

Interesting! I also see possibilities for audioboo, in showcasing digital potifolios of learning outcomes to parents. Through podcast-based student/teacher-led conferences on weblogs!
